What happened

This was a sit-down dinner rather than a drive-thru, served at the Elks Lodge on Monday, November 22, from 5 to 7 PM. The Springfield C3 unit, Springfield Public Schools and Elks Lodge #61 all appear on the flyer.

It ran three days before Thanksgiving, which is the pattern for most of our Thanksgiving meals: the weekday before the holiday, so families have the day itself to themselves.
